At Whiskers of Hope, our mission is to rescue, rehabilitate, and rehome abandoned and at-risk animals while supporting the well-being of pets and their families through compassionate community services. As a registered nonprofit, we are committed to providing not only a safe haven for animals in need, but also essential resources—such as pet food assistance and help with veterinary care—to ensure every pet has the opportunity to live a healthy, happy life. Together, we are building a more humane, hopeful future—one paw at a time.

Lacey's Legacy Program

Lifeline for Families & Their Pets

Lacey’s Legacy Program was founded in memory of one of our beloved rescue cats. Lacey came into our care as a tiny, injured kitten, just around 10 weeks old, left abandoned on a rural road. Despite her rough start, with lots of time, care, and love, she blossomed into a resilient and affectionate companion. Her sweet nature and strength made a lasting impact, and she became a symbol of hope and perseverance.

At Whiskers of Hope, we understand how heartbreaking it can be to see a beloved pet in pain and feel powerless to help. Through our Lacey’s Legacy Program, we offer compassionate assistance with the cost of urgent or essential veterinary care for pets whose families are experiencing financial hardship.

This program is here to ensure that no animal goes without help simply because their person is struggling. By easing the financial strain on pet owners, Lacey’s Legacy helps to keep pets in their homes with their loving families and out of shelters.

Jessica, the passionate and driven founding member of Whiskers of Hope Pet Sanctuary, is a dedicated advocate for animal welfare and community support. With a deep-rooted love for animals and a strong desire to make a positive impact, Jessica founded the nonprofit organization committed to rescuing and rehabilitating animals in need, while also providing essential resources to pet owners facing financial hardship to ensure every pet receives the care they deserve.

Growing up with pets and experiencing firsthand the powerful bond between animals and their human companions, Jessica set out to bridge the gap between community resources and the rising costs of pet ownership. Armed with a background in animal care, Jessica laid the foundation for Whiskers of Hope Pet Sanctuary, creating a vital resource in the community.

Jessica believes in a future where every pet has access to the resources they need and the sanctuary continues to thrive as a beacon of hope for both pets and their owners.
